Two individuals have been identified as Alejandro José Bevilacqua, 34 years old, and Miranda Leguizamón, 29, in relation to the case. However, two other men and one woman have recently been arrested, two of whom were also in a romantic relationship, identified as E.M, N.P, and B.N. Next week, the imputative hearings are expected to take place, according to the news portal La Capital, which will provide more information about their roles in the case.
The alleged cause of death of Sofía Delgado, the young woman whose body was found in Santa Fe after being missing for 15 days, appears to be mechanical asphyxiation, and so far there are five people detained for her femicide. According to judicial sources from the Argentine News Agency, the autopsy was performed at the Legal Medical Institute with the knowledge of the family members, preserving samples for further analysis.
The necropsy indicated that the victim's body was in an advanced state of decomposition and that she was likely a victim of mechanical asphyxiation, a conclusion that could be confirmed by subsequent forensic analyses. After several raids and searches, Delgado's corpse was found wrapped in thermal insulation, resulting in the detention of five individuals in connection with the case.
The first two arrests were made in Pergamino, Buenos Aires Province, confirming that it was a couple.
